Laut Zahlen des Statistischen Bundesamtes traten 378439 Paare im Jahr 2009 in Deutschland vor einen Standesbeamten, um sich das Ja-Wort zu geben.<\/p><p>Das waren knapp l0000 Paare mehr als 2007. Begannen die M\u00e4nner 2007 ihr Eheleben noch mit durchschnittlich 32.7 Jahren, so liegt das durchschnittliche Ehe-Eintrittsalter mittlerweile bei 33,1Jahren. Denn erst durch die Heiratsurkunde wird die Eheschlie\u00dfung amtlich.<\/p><p>Dies war nicht immer so. Die sogenannte Zivilehe geht auf den von Napoleon Bonaparte entwickelten \u201eCode Zivil&#8220; zur\u00fcck und wurde vor etwas mehr als 200 Jahren in den franz\u00f6sisch besetzten und regierten Gebieten eingef\u00fchrt. Endg\u00fcltig setzte sich die Zivilehe 1855 durch.<\/p><p>Vorreiter waren die Freie Hansestadt Bremen und das damalige Gro\u00dfherzogtum Oldenburg. Zwei Drittel der rund 81 Millionen Menschen in der Bundesrepublik sind Christen, davon sind die H\u00e4lfte katholisch, die andere H\u00e4lfte protestantisch beziehungsweise evangelisch.\u00a0Das belegen Statistiken der Deutschen Bischofskonferenz und der Evangelischen Kirche in Deutschland (EKD).
